Skillful Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse Needed
Medical City Dallas is seeking a seasoned Pediatric ICU RN who embodies clinical expertise, compassion, and dedication to delivering exceptional care in one of the nation's premier pediatric intensive care units.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide direct patient care with unwavering attention to detail and empathy for each family's unique needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans tailored to optimize patient outcomes and resource utilization
- Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the scope of practice and adhere to established policies ensuring seamless communication and workflow
- Incorporate education into every aspect of nursing practice, empowering patients and their families with knowledge and support
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year recent experience as a PICU RN in an acute care hospital setting; ADN required, BSN preferred and required within 2 years of hire
- Texas State RN license or compact license accepted
- BLS certification from either American Heart Association or American Red Cross mandatory
- Current PALS certification
