We are seeking a dedicated CT Technician PRN like you to be a part of our team. As a CT Technician, you will perform superior/quality CT scans under the guidance of a Radiologist on all ages. You will maintain a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring. You will participate in departmental Performance Improvement activities. This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
Responsibilities:
As a CT Technician, your responsibilities will include:
1. Performing CT scans on all ages under the guidance of a Radiologist
2. Maintaining a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring
3. Participating in departmental Performance Improvement activities
4. Providing excellent customer service to patients and their families
5. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
2. Registered Radiographer (ARRT) State Registered Radiologic Technician Certificate
3. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
4. Strong communication and teamwork skills
5. Commitment to maintaining a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment
6. Ability to participate in departmental Performance Improvement activities
