About the Role:
This is a night shift position requiring key responsibilities:
- Clinical Development Coordination: Assists with department-specific needs assessment, goal setting, implementation methods, evaluation measures, and instruction of education activities.
- Staff Support: Provides educational support for staff, emphasizing assigned service line development.
- Continuing Education Guidelines: Interprets guidelines for continuing respiratory education based on professional practice guidelines.
- Educational Collaboration: Works with the education department to identify needs and plan education activities enhancing professional growth.
Recognizes the role of the Clinical Educator in internship development and process improvement, as assigned. - Limited committee work and special projects when appropriate.
- Acts as a role model for high-quality clinical skills.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
- Graduated from an accredited school for respiratory care recognized by NBRC.
- One or more years as a Respiratory Educator or extended history of initiative in education projects/programs.
- Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
