Job Title: Respiratory Therapist PEDS NICU
We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Medical City Dallas. This position may be eligible for up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus.
About the Role:
The Respiratory Therapist coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and document patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy.
- Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
- Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
Requirements:
RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP), or Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT), or Licensed Certified Respiratory Therapist (LCRT)
State Registered Respiratory Therapist, or State Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician
