Certification Details ACLS BLS NIHSS Job Details Job Overview : RN position in a telemetry and med-surg unit. Number of Beds : 60 Number of Staff : 50 Patient Ratios : 5 : 1 (Med Surg 4th Floor), 6 : 1 (Med Surg 5th Floor) Type of Equipment : remote telemetry, capnography, Alaris IV pumps, glucometers, dynamaps EMR : Alterra (Allscripts) Typical Procedures : abdominal surgeries, orthopedic repairs, heart catheterizations. Job Requirements Telemetry experience required Med Surg experience required Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred : Cardiac recognition, IV starts, time management skills. Schedule Information Weekend shifts are required. No on-call shifts. Unit Specific Information Unit Guidelines / Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Additional Details Mandatory float as needed : Inpatient rehab, ED, PCU. Dress Code : Currently wear black scrubs but will be moving to Medical City Blue.
