Job Summary And Qualifications

• The BMT Administrator provides direction and support for the on-going development of Medical City Dallas BMT services for both adults and pediatrics.
• This position is responsible for aligning multiple departments (Adult and Pediatric BMT; Cellular Therapy Laboratory and Hematological Oncology) in a common mission while fostering interdepartmental collaboration across the full continuum of care.
• Drives program performance while collaborating with inpatient nursing services.
• Areas of responsibility include FACT preparation; contracting; quality and compliance; program management; strategic development; marketing and outreach, and research.
• Reports to AVP of Neurosciences and has administrative authority and responsibility for BMT related services.
• The BMT Administrator provides direction and support for the on-going development of Medical City Dallas BMT services for both adults and pediatrics.
• This position is responsible for aligning multiple departments (Adult and Pediatric BMT; Cellular Therapy Laboratory and Hematological Oncology) in a common mission while fostering interdepartmental collaboration across the full continuum of care.

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressive healthcare/hospital management required.
• Transplant and/or oncology related experience required.
• KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Functional knowledge of the basic principles, theories and current practice of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant and Hematology services.
• Strong business/project management acumen.
