QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Education / Licensure/CertificationsB.S. of PharD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy. Current Licensure issued by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS or PALS certificate preferred.Minimum Experience1 year of hospital experience preferred. Completion of all hospital specific competencies for Clinical Pharmacist.Physical RequirementsProlonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, phone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate reports. May be exposed toxic/caustic/chemicals/detergents. Work is performed in an office or pharmacy environment. Work may be stressful at times. Contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people. Must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations.
