Job Summary And Qualifications
Under direction of Medical Director and Administrative Laboratory Director, according to current applicable federal, state, and local regulations/ accrediting agencies, the Manager:
Maintains high level of quality work
Responsible for departmental functions, including schedule and employees
Supports hospital mission, vision, and goals
Identifies cost-effective systems needed to support department, taking into account business trends, resource availability, and customer changes
Establishes effective working relationships with patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors
Identifies and remedies issues through monitoring customer satisfaction data and employee involvement
Works with Senior Management in meeting department goals

- Medical Lab Scientist/Medical Technologist certification - ASCP, AMT or under CLIA '88
- Bachelors degree in Science or related field
- Five years of management/supervisor experience preferred
