Job Summary and Qualifications
The Anesthesia Technician plays a crucial role in delivering top-notch, patient-centered care by providing essential anesthesia support to the anesthesia clinician during surgical procedures. Their proactive approach to preparing and maintaining supplies, patient monitoring equipment, and anesthesia delivery systems helps anticipate the clinician's needs. As a member of the perioperative team, the Anesthesia Technician collaborates with the circulating RN and the perioperative team to ensure a safe and optimal patient perioperative experience.
What qualifications you will need :
Work requires knowledge of anatomy, biology, chemistry, pharmacology and instrumentation at a level generally acquired through one year of post high school training in nursing or a related allied health field. Or completion of an anesthesia tech program.
Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals are hospitals for specialized advanced cardiovascular and spine care. The facilities are located near Medical City Dallas. We offer complex spine surgery and minimally invasive surgical options.
