Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist coordinates and delivers high-quality patient-centered respiratory care, working in accordance with departmental requirements and state and specialty standards. As part of the patient care team, you will perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, monitor patients on invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation, and assist with transportation of ventilator-dependent patients.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans based on patient assessment data.
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy as prescribed.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
