Position Description:
The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of Surgery, Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary or specialty medical care within defined scope of practice under the supervision of a licensed physician and in accordance with MCW/FMLH/CHW policies and procedures. Located in Menomonee Falls, WI at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching. Position Requirements:
Preferred Experience: Prior Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant acute care experience. Minimum Education: Advanced Practice Nurse: Master's Degree or higher in Nursing Minimum Requirements: *or eligible Advanced Practice Nurse Physician Assistant Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner Wisconsin Physician Assistant License Wisconsin RN License Certification by NCCPA Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, DEA AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, DEA CITI Certification to be completed within 90 days of hire Certification as Acute Care NP preferred
