As an Advancement Systems Manager, you will oversee the control, design, implementation and auditing of philanthropy databases for Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) to ensure accurate and appropriate use of donor-specific data. Manage multiple database applications within the Office of Institutional Advancement (OIA) which are highly complex in nature. Serve as the technical expert for leveraging database integration efficiencies and manages a team of individuals serving as OIA database analyst experts.
Responsibilities :
- Leads all aspects of OIA application, Raiser's Edge
- Leads and manages data analyst team, consisting of two individuals with responsibilities of maintaining accurate data input and supporting OIA team members with donor data information.
- Leads the identification, planning and implementation of process enhancements supported by Raiser's Edge.
- Create and generate complex reports and queries to support fundraising and strategic business decisions.
- Designs, builds, and delivers complex reports and lists to facilitate the work of the development team; this includes custom reports and analyzing trends.
- Assists with data needs, ad-hoc reports or queries, and financial reports as requested by all departments.
- Manages support and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensures proper testing and validation of changes following standard change control practices.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of process documentation, standard operating procedures and training materials.
- Consults with non-technical audience and users across all OIA positions to resolve technical issues and data conflicts.
- Experience importing data via ImportOmatic tool and organizing data for importing into Raiser's Edge from other marketing platforms e.g., Luminate Online
- Responsible for data strategy projects including data validity, standardization, and integrity projects; experiences in data cleanups, duplicate eradication, and similar data related functions.
- Stays abreast of new and developing tools, technology, and processes and makes recommendations regarding updates / upgrades or new tools needed.
- Oversees data integrations processes to facilitate seamless data flow between systems and applications.
- Implement data governance policies and procedures to establish data management guidelines and ensure the accuracy, reliability, and security of data.
- Database Security : Maintains and secures the application by setting policies and processes and enforcing standards and controls.
- Responsible for evaluating vendor roadmaps and understanding impact to existing platform implementations. Ensure MCW is maximizing its investment by staying current with latest product releases.
