FACULTY POSITION: COMMUNITY MEDICAL ONCOLOGIST
The Medical College of Wisconsin is a private, freestanding medical school dedicated to leadership and excellence in advancing the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease and injury through education, discovery, patient care and community engagement.
The Division of Hematology and Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin seeks candidates for a medical oncologist to work in the F&MCW Community Cancer Network. The successful candidate will also be appointed to the faculty at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Rank for this position is open.
Successful candidates for this position will have a passion for the clinical care of patients with both hematologic and oncologic conditions. The position allows for opportunity for participation in Division research programs, including clinical trials. Qualified candidate must have excellent clinical skills with expertise in general hematology and oncology. Candidates must be board certified and/or board eligible in hematology and oncology.
The Division of Hematology and Oncology has 70 faculty and 14 fellows and more than 80 advanced practice providers. It also has a dedicated inpatient and ambulatory care facility, an integrated Palliative Care program and close clinical and research interactions with Surgical and Radiation Oncology, the Blood Center of Wisconsin and the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Registry (CIBMTR). This Division is an active member of ECOG-ACRIN and has access to most cooperative group oncology and hematology studies.
