Pediatric Epilepsy Neurologist
Children’s Wisconsin and the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Epilepsy Neurologist to join our team of renowned experts in the care and treatment of children with epilepsy. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment, providing exceptional care while advancing the field through research, education, and clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with epilepsy, including diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, and management of complex cases.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of pediatric specialists, including neurosurgeons, neuropsychologists, and other pediatric neurologists.
- Engage in cutting-edge research in pediatric epilepsy and contribute to the advancement of treatment options and patient outcomes.
- Participate in the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows in pediatric neurology and epilepsy.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocol development within the epilepsy program.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient care in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced neurodiagnostic services, including video EEG monitoring, MEG, and neuroimaging.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Pediatric Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology or Epilepsy.
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
- Fellowship training in pediatric epilepsy or a strong clinical focus on epilepsy.
- A commitment to providing compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Interest in academic medicine and a desire to engage in research and teaching.
