Position Description :
As a Clerk at the Grand Avenue Club, sponsored by the Cancer Center Department, you will assist in routine administrative work, filing, and projects as needed in accordance with specific instructions and established work methods.
Primary Functions
- Assist in routine sorting, copying, and filing
- Sort laboratory kit contents
- Perform mail transport / delivery
- Assist in maintaining files in appropriate location to include boxing up old patient and study folders to send to off-site storage facility
- Look up information in tables and lists; post information appropriately.
- Perform light typing / word processing as needed.
- Distribute paper and supplies as needed
- Light cleaning and tidying of shared work spaces
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge - Skills - Abilities
Knowledge of computers, clerical procedures, customer service standards, collaboration, and information management. Organization, time management, interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills.
Preferred Schedule : Fulltime 8-4 : 30

Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis
Minimum Required Education : High school or equivalent.
