In the role of a Grants Operations Coordinator you will be working in Pediatrics.
All remote work must be performed within one of the MCW registered payroll states, which currently includes: WI, AZ, FL, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, TN,TX, and UT.
Purpose
Coordinates the post-award administration of various grants assigned to one or more pediatric divisions. Interacts with investigators and administrative staff to ensure that grants are in compliance with regulatory, funding agency, and policy requirements.
Primary Functions
Knowledge of economics, accounting, mathematics, administration, law, government, and human resources.
Work requires resource management, mathematics, problem solving, critical thinking, and time management.
Preferred Schedule:
Full-time role with expectations for coverage during core business hours or as needed to accommodate business needs.

Target salary range for this position is between $63,000.00 and $79,800.00 annually. The final offered salary will depend on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, and knowledge, as well as considerations of internal equity and market alignment.

Coordinates the post-award administration of various grants assigned to one or more pediatric divisions. Interacts with investigators and administrative staff to ensure that grants are in compliance with regulatory, funding agency, and policy requirements.
Primary Functions
- Assists administrative staff and research team in the creation, negotiation, and administration of grants, contracts, and research proposals.
- Assists in the development of grant budgets pre-award by monitoring for compliance with sponsor, MCW polices/procedures, and federal regulations.
- Coordinates the grant process from budget development to the post-award stage through closeout. Collaborates with the Grants and Contracts Office and the Office of Sponsored Programs on facilitation of these awards.
- Coordinates the budgetary aspects of the grant process from development and submission through closeout.
- Ensures compliance with sponsor terms, MCW policies/procedures, and federal regulations.
- Administers grant budgets.
- May consolidate sources of information to ensure document requirements are complete.
- Ensures compliance with grant guidelines, budgets, and stipulations.
- Generates forecasts to analyze financial trends, funding resources, and research impact of decisions on grant funding budgets.
- Analyzes monthly financial performance compared to Sponsor budget. Research variances and provide insight as to why they are occurring.
- Maintains records of division grant activity and provides reports to leadership upon request.
- Other research related system support including iLab and Forte administration.
- Oversee completion of special projects as assigned.
