Position Description:
Advanced GI Endoscopy Training Program

The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee is accepting applications for a one-year fellowship training program in Advanced GI Endoscopy. The fellowship training involves clinical activities which are based at Zablocki VA Medical Center and Froedtert Hospital. The fellowship will cover patient care duties which will include exposure to advanced endoscopy procedures and will comprise approximately 80% of the training. During the course of the year, the candidate will receive training in ERCP, EUS, EMR, Balloon enteroscopy, GI Stenting, and Ablation of Barrett’s esophagus. Some off-hours coverage may be required in rotation. The candidate will be appointed at the level of Instructor.
Eligible candidates should have completed accredited 3-year fellowship training in Gastroenterology by the start date and certified competent in diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy and upper GI endoscopy.
