at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is seeking a highly organized and proactive Program Associate to provide vital administrative support to the NRC Director while leading the center’s programmatic and outreach efforts. This role ensures seamless daily operations, strengthens engagement initiatives, and enhances the visibility of NRC’s research and events.
The Program Associate will manage the Director’s schedule, meetings, travel, and administrative needs. Additionally, they will oversee NRC’s communications and marketing efforts, including newsletters, website content, social media, and promotional materials. They will be pivotal in executing major NRC events, such as the Imagine More Dinner, Neuroscience and Justice lecture series, seminars, retreats, and board meetings. This position also supports educational initiatives, including the Techniques in Neuroscience Course and the NRC’s role in student pathway programs.

Primary Functions
- Serve as the primary administrative support to the NRC Director, managing schedules, meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Coordinate program outreach and events, including seminars, retreats, site visits, board meetings, and the Neuroscience and Justice lecture series.
- Provide multifaceted travel arrangements, including lodging, transportation, and itinerary management for guests and lecturers.
- Oversee the Techniques in Neuroscience Course and support student pathway programs (, DSHREP, SPUR).
- Assist with new NRC employee onboarding.
- Develop and maintain NRC program materials, including website content, newsletters, member databases, marketing materials, and social media accounts.
- Collect, analyze, and disseminate communications and events data to program stakeholders.
