Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our distribution center, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, as well as experience with various shipping and receiving processes.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and manage stock effectively.
- Perform order picking tasks to prepare products for shipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities in the AS400 system.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely distribution of products within the warehouse.
- Operate reach trucks safely to move materials within the warehouse environment.
- Assist in inventory management through regular stock checks and updates in MRP systems.
- Support e-commerce operations by preparing online orders for shipment.
Skills
- Proficient in basic math skills for accurate inventory management.
- Experience with RF scanners for tracking shipments and inventory levels.
- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes within a distribution center environment.
- Knowledge of AS400 and MRP systems is a plus.
- Ability to operate reach trucks safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate processing of shipments.
- Experience in e-commerce logistics is desirable but not mandatory.
