Warehouse Expeditor

This role will gather, distribute, and facilitate the flow of materials between
multiple manufacturing operation departments. Load and unload product from freight trucks.
Possesses clear understanding of safety requirements and procedures while operating a forklift,
pallet jack, reach lift and /or box truck. Examines the production needs and moves material based
on manufacturing demands. Provide a high quality of customer service to maintain an effective
and efficient work environment. Handle deliveries, work orders and customer shipments with
the utmost care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Pick, verify, and ship internal and external customer orders.
• Monitor and record stock inventory levels and report inventory variances.
• Load and unload freight trucks.
• Build pallets following IMI’s guidelines and procedures.
• Analyze inventory requirements with the warehouse manager and process purchase order
requests for general and BOM-related inventory.
• Work autonomously throughout the day with minimal supervision.
• Completes tasks in a timely and professional manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in a warehouse job function.
• Forklift certification and demonstrate experience operating a forklift.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, focus on details.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Performs well under pressure and able to handle multiple projects at one time.
• Positive and professional with all internal and external customers.
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Works well in team environment, good interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish / English).
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge.

Physical / Mental Demands:
• Job is performed indoors in a warehouse environment with high forklift traffic, including
non-AC environment, controlled areas, quarantine areas.
• Physical activity includes sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching above
shoulders, and regular lifting of up to 30 pounds and occasional lifting of 40-50 pounds or
moving up to 100 pounds.
• Repetitive bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, and lifting.
• Able to sit, stand, bend, reach and / or walk for long period of time.
• Repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves.
• Work may require weekend and evening work.
• Work under stress in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be alert, able to concentrate, and use good judgment.
