We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Sales to build and lead our sales organization. This key executive will drive aggressive revenue growth and strategically position Ventis Medical as the leading choice among EMS providers, medical transport services, hospitals, emergency rooms, and critical care stakeholders nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans focused on EMS, medical transport, hospitals, emergency rooms, and broader emergency care markets.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing strategic oversight and active leadership.
- Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers in EMS agencies, hospitals, emergency rooms, air medical services, and healthcare systems.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting to closing.
- Work closely with marketing, clinical education, product management, and regulatory teams to ensure cohesive product positioning.
- Ensure precise management of demo and evaluation inventory.
- Represent Ventis Medical at industry conferences, trade shows, and professional meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum 7 years in medical device sales, with at least 3 years in senior sales leadership.
- Proven track record achieving aggressive sales targets and successfully launching new medical technologies.
- Experience with ventilators, respiratory care devices, or EMS-critical care equipment highly desirable.
- Exceptional strategic selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset suited for a fast-paced startup environment.
- Ability to travel extensively (up to 50%).
