Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for an RN (Registered Nurse) for a 13 week contract at an acute care facility in Quinter, KS for our Emergency Room and MedSurg Unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in critical situations, demonstrating strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Duties
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
- Perform tube feeding and manage catheter care as needed.
- Conduct critical care assessments and provide immediate interventions for patients in distress.
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols.
- Execute gastric lavage procedures when necessary, adhering to safety standards.
- Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in an emergency room or critical care setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Current BLS with American Heart Association .
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical / ER unit experience as an RN (Registered Nurse) within the last 2 years, no exceptions
