We have immediate opportunities for experienced Plastics Extrusion Operators and Technicians in the medical plastic extrusion industry.
Responsibilities:
· Operating the extrusion line - including but not limited to; set-up and tear down, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance and workflow.
· Extrusion tooling setup and tooling changes as required.
· Monitoring all line controls & making proper adjustments.
· Troubleshooting and checking dimensions/quality of product.
· Follow established procedures to maintain a clean and organized environment.
· Follow good documentation practices to ensure traceability and repeatability.
· Perform accurate manufacturing of parts, proper use of gauges, toolmaker scope, ruler, etc.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 6 months previous plastic extrusion operator experience required.
· Experience using 1” Killion, Davis Standard or similar extrusion equipment, and associated downstream equipment.
· Ability to read and understand job folders, record data.
· Good Documentation Practices
· Good problem solving and communication skills.
· Must be a team player, flexible, and willing to work OT as required
· Ability to read and utilize measuring tools.
