Position: Cook
Location: Manhattan, New York
An established medical facility is seeking an experienced cook to join their team. In this role, you will work with other cooks and food service workers to prepare an average of 40-50 meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Schedule:
- 35 – 40 hours per week
- Five days per week including weekends - 5AM to 2:30PM
Pay Rate:
- $22.00 - $25.00 an hour
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the culinary team to prepare meals.
- Ensure food quality and preparation meet company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Execute menu items according to recipes and standards.
Requirements
· 2 – 3 years of experience as a cook.
· Working knowledge of recipes, methods, and procedures used in food preparation.
· Knowledge of sanitary requirements concerning food preparation, cooking, and storage
· Basic knowledge of nutritional values of food.
· Solid understanding of food safety practices and procedures.
· Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
