Medical Group Alaska is seeking an Audiologist to join our team. We collaborate closely with government and non-government customers to address current and future program needs within the health services domain.
About the Role
This role requires a Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Au. D) from an accredited college or university. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of clinic practice experience, with a strong focus on Compensation and Pension Examination and hearing conservation programs.
Responsibilities
- Administer and interpret various tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment.
- Evaluate test results and document findings to determine the likely cause of hearing loss.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and operate computerized programs to enter and modify information into electronic medical records.
- Conduct otoscopic examinations, cerumen management, and calibration checks of audiometric equipment.
Requirements
- Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Au. D)
- 5 years of clinic practice experience
- Currently licensed Audiologist in the state employed
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and/or American Academy of Audiology (AAA) certification prior to hire
