Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team at our clinic in Leesville, LA. As an Audiologist with Medical Group Alaska, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Administer and interpret various tests to determine hearing impairment, including air and bone conduction tests and speech reception and discrimination tests.
- Evaluate test results and documents to determine the cause of hearing loss and provide recommendations for treatment.
- Conduct otoscopic examinations, cerumen management, and calibration checks of audiometric equipment.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
- Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Au.D) from an accredited college or university.
- At least 5 years of experience as a clinical audiologist.
- Currently licensed Audiologist in the state employed.
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and/or American Academy of Audiology (AAA) certification.
