About the Job
You will conduct a variety of general medicine, occupational, and disability health examinations. Your role will include reviewing medical history and associated records, interpreting clinical data, and completing written reports and generating independent medical opinions (IMO). The examinations may be completed in-person or remotely.
Required Skills and Qualifications
You must have a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited university or college, completed education and training in an US accredited, post-baccalaureate (Masters) Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), unrestricted medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of authorized practice in the state of hire, valid BLS OR ACLS certification, ability to obtain DEA license, and at least 2 years of post-graduate experience in General Medicine or Internal Medicine.
Benefits and Requirements
Flexible Schedule: Appointments are typically scheduled approximately 5 to 7 days of notification. Location: Hazleton, PA. Additional Information: Provider must complete required online training courses up to 13 courses at approx. 17.5 hours total. Leidos QTC Health Services will run a 7-year criminal history and sex offender background check. Once the BGI and credentialing have been completed, the Provider will be required to obtain CPEP Certification (approx.17 hours/depending on specialty).
