Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team in Rochester, NY. As a CT Technologist at Medical Imagery Solutions & Staffing, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and empathy.
Key Responsibilities :
- Confirm patient identity and exam verification before initiating the scan; strictly adhering to department policy and procedure for patient safety
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
- Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable.
- Insert IVs when necessary for the test.
- Positions patients accordingly, which may include lifting or moving patients with limited mobility; must utilize safe patient handling.
- Maintains accurate patient record keeping by properly documenting all necessary components within EPIC including identifying images and assuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly upon exam completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
