Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mammography Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diagnostic radiology and be proficient in performing mammography procedures. This role is critical in providing high-quality medical imaging services to assist in the early detection and diagnosis of breast conditions. The Mammography Technologist will work closely with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and patient comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography examinations according to established protocols and guidelines.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly.
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide high-quality diagnostic evaluations.
• Document patient information, imaging results, and any relevant clinical data accurately.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations within the imaging department.
• Provide clear communication to patients, ensuring they are informed and comfortable throughout the imaging process.
• Participate in quality control and assurance programs to maintain high standards of imaging.

Qualifications

Licenses / Certifications :

Certification as a Mammography Technologist or equivalent qualification in diagnostic radiology

Skills & Experience :

Proficiency in performing mammography procedures
