The physician must be comfortable working independently and in a team setting, with access to support from registered nurses and a CRNA when available.
Details : Both sites are Critical Access Hospitals
24 Hour call (8a-8a)
Sole Provider
Average 5-15 per 24 hour shift
Trauma Level IV
Provider will stabilize and discharge, stabilize and admit or stabilize and trauma hawk out
Must be able to intubate and running central lines is a plus
Must round on the floor as well during shift
1 site has CRNA backup, other site does not
Team of RN s on shift to assist
Must be comfortable with anything that comes through the door including stabbings, gun shots, overdoses, heart attack, diabetics, to general illness etc
ACLS / ATLS / PALS required
Hospital has a provider room they will stay in during their shift with bed, t.v., fridge, bathroom etc
Client will cover flight. They send a driver to the airport to transport back and forth.
Credentialing takes 2-3 days
