Overview

Medical-Link N. America is seeking a highly skilled Hematology/Oncology Physician to lead our clinical services team.

Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our hematology and oncology department, ensuring high-quality patient care and excellent clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical direction and supervision to healthcare staff, including physicians, nurses, and other support personnel.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote optimal patient care and safety.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce errors.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in hematology and oncology, applying evidence-based practices to patient care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Hematology and Oncology or eligibility for board certification within one year of hire date.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and other relevant software applications.
