What You’ll Do:
- Operate and monitor extrusion lines with a focus on mechanical efficiency and quality output
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting, adjustments, and product dial-ins
- Conduct in-process inspections and occasional final inspections
- Perform equipment breakdown, cleaning, and maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate documentation and quality records
- Work closely with engineers to enhance processes, materials, and mechanical systems
- Handle and work with hot surfaces and materials safely
- Lift and transport materials up to 50 lbs.
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Strong mechanical aptitude – hands-on experience with machines, tools, or mechanical systems preferred
- Previous plastic extrusion experience a plus
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications with attention to detail
- Mid-level proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment (with or without restrictions)
- Comfortable working around hot surfaces and materials
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for mechanical efficiency
