Assembly Technician

Compensation: $22.00 - $31.00 per hour

Position Title: Assembly Technician (1st and 2nd Shift!)

Location: Onsite in Lake Zurich, IL

Position Summary

The Assembly Technician position works with cutting edge products and is responsible for following written and demonstrated procedures to build products and components. A large variety of techniques, tools, instructions, and equipment will be used to make products and components.

Schedule

1st shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

2nd shift: Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Produce small, assembled parts according to written procedures
• Work with little to no supervision and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner
• Run equipment such as adhesive dispenser, vertical shrinker, braider, tipping machines, drilling punching, and measuring devices to assemble catheters and parts
• Maintain written record of materials used, procedures followed and inspection features on supplied data forms (LHR, etc)
• Keep track of materials, tools, and procedures as the device is manufactured
• Affirm incoming materials that meet purchase order specifications

We’re Looking For

• Education: Associate or higher degree or equivalent experience
• Experience: 2-9 years in assembly (medical device assembly is preferred)
  • Must include experience with plastic part assembly, adhesive bonding, materials knowledge, and prototyping
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working on the computer
• Communication Skills: Ability to read, listen to, and follow instructions in English.
