Position Summary :
The Assembler position performs direct manufacturing activities in the production department in support of the department's objectives to provide goods and services that meet customer’s requirements for quality, quantity, and timeliness.
Schedule :
Monday - Thursday : 6 am - 3 pm
Friday : 6 am - 10 am

GeneralResponsible to follow Medical Murray Quality system, including all applicable SOP's included in the Training Matrix
Maintain good working relationships with other co-workersWork to complete assignments accurately and in a timely mannerMaintain confidential information, in accordance with Company policyAdherence to safety requirementsAssembly ResponsibilitiesFollow released documents to produce products, notify supervisor if conflict is observed
Produce components, subassemblies, or final assembliesFollow in-line checks to verify work performed, utilize hand tools as required, such as calipers and rulersAwareness of quality requirements; identify defects and communicate defects to supervisor and / or engineer for the product through use of the reject log or direct communicationOperate equipment such as adhesive dispenser, UV cure, hot box, and tipping machinesKeep track of materials, tools, and procedures as the device is manufacturedDocumentation and Line ClearancePrepare station and perform line clearance, including all items identified in the line clearance procedure; ensure daily line clearance is completed for each operation performed
Confirm training is current before starting work and that procedure is understood, and notify supervisor if conflict occursPerform daily, weekly, and monthly CER cleaningCompletely and accurately fill in LHRs or forms in support of manufacturingInform lead or supervisor of issues or unanticipated non-conformance (e.g. calibration out of date, expired material, high scrap rate); stop line as necessaryAdvise supervisor in the event of needed tool or equipment repairsAssists in other work-related areas as requiredEducation and Experience :
Vocational - High School diploma or equivalent experienceAssembly experience preferred, medical device experience is a plusSkills, Knowledge, and Abilities :
Ability to fluently read, write, verbally communicate, and follow directions in EnglishAbility to communicate (read, write, speak) in EnglishAbility to record resultsGood hand-to-eye coordination and manual dexterityHand sewing skills are a plusAbility to monitor own work to ensure qualityAble to work under a microscopeHave a good basic level of mechanical abilityAbility to use a variety of measurement tools, such as rulers and calipersAbility to use a variety of hand tools such as tweezers, razor blades, scalpels, wire cutters, clippers, needle nose pliers, screwdrivers, and Allen wrenchesAbility to use a variety of assembly equipment such as lab oven, glue dispenser, heat gun, and soldering ironAbility to perform fundamental tasks on a computerQualifications :
