About our Office:
We are a small, yet busy privately owned practice. We are looking to add a friendly, hardworking, and dependable nurse practitioner to our growing team. The right candidate will be self-motivated, detail oriented, and have good time management skills as they will be working autonomously under physician supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations on patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and diseases
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and other treatments
- Provide counseling and education to patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Michigan
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in internal medicine
- Experience in primary care
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice guidelines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a healthcare team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
