Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Our Nurse Practitioner will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team and will be responsible for delivering comprehensive medical services to patients. The Nurse Practitioner will work in collaboration with our experienced physicians, residents, and other healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and injections, including experience with spinal taps and other invasive procedures
- Perform surgical procedures, including assisting with surgeries in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct clinical research and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Teach and mentor students and new graduates in a teaching hospital setting
- Develop and implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients
- Utilize coding systems to document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
- Stay current with the latest developments in ophthalmology and other medical specialties
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Experience as a Nurse Practitioner or in a related role
- Certified and Licensed Nurse Practitioner
- Proven experience administering injections and conducting clinical research
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with coding systems and electronic medical records
- Knowledge of other medical specialties
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered care and improving health outcomes
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $97,512.00 - $105,669.00 per year
