Job Summary
A fast-paced, privately owned podiatry office seeks a full-time Clinical Manager to oversee a rapidly growing practice.
The ideal candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills, excellent computer skills, solid supervisory and leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to take the initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving expertise, and the ability to understand and apply guidelines and policies.
Duties
- Coordination with the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer/owner of day-to-day clinic flow, monitors the activities of all clinic protocol components to ensure compliance with its goals and objectives
- Provide training & supervision of medical assistant staff
- Assist physicians and medical assistant staff when needed
- Development & adherence of clinic policy & procedure protocols
- Meet with & vet new vendors & products
- Monitors quality measures and outcomes
- Maintain day-to-day patient flow, monitor and prioritize workflow and schedules
- Ensure services comply with professional standards, OSHA, state, and federal regulatory requirements
- Provide leadership within the clinic setting to ensure effective, efficient office operations, optimizing performance and providing quality care to our patients
- Conducts weekly inventory and ordering of DME & medical supplies
- Acts as a liaison with outside agencies, service bureaus, and businesses
- Maintains responsibility for testing & performance of equipment
- Reports to COO on issues involving clinic operations, workflow, patient experiences, and employee relations
- Must be available to travel between locations
Experience
- Proven experience in healthcare management or a related field is essential.
- Strong background in supervising teams within a medical or clinical setting.
- Familiarity with medical administrative support functions and practice management systems.
- Knowledge of fiscal management principles as they relate to healthcare operations.
- Proficiency in managing EMR systems and ensuring data integrity.
