What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Scribe/Medical Assistant position at Medical Office?
Summary – We are looking for a pre-medical, nursing or person with interest in joining the field of healthcare to join our practice. Whether on a gap year, in school, or looking to begin your healthcare career, we are looking for a candidate who is eager to join a patient centered, private practice in Brewster, MA. We work closely with our patients and their care teams and families to deliver top level care to Cape Cod.
Role – As a medical assistant you will work extensively with patients and physicians, but also electronic health records and insurance companies. We are looking for an individual who is willing to learn podiatric practice techniques, and who is able to multi-task when managing the day to day activities of a healthcare office. As a medical assistant, we are looking for someone who is motivated to work alongside physicians during in office procedures and is comfortable with medical terminology both in an office environment and in documentation.
Qualifications – While experience in healthcare is desired, we are willing to train and welcome a candidate to the field of podiatry. We work alongside a positive, driven team, who is patient focused and we look for someone who would be able to fit in with our team. We offer in-house training for all individuals and we will aid you in your growth both in podiatry and the field of medicine.
