Medical Plus Supplies, Inc is seeking a strong Billing/ Reimbursement Specialist to join one of the largest home medical equipment organizations in Houston, TX. The applicant should be able to provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts under his or her control.
Job Duties:
Confirming Sales orders, Refund requests, Appeals, Audits
Job Requirements:
Brightree software a plus
Individuals applying must have two (2) solid years of experience on Accounts Receivables, and Collections while working in a medical/ DME Business Office. Must have 2 yrs experience in the DME Medical Collections and all aspects of Accounts Receivable cycle. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook . (Required) Must have experience in a DME medical billing, heavy A/R, collections (from insurance companies and patients), payment posting, insurance follow-up and coding, appeals and verification. Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, third party and insurance company regulations and reimbursement programs. Knowledge of computer accounting programs, spreadsheets and applications. Team player attitude, energetic, able to multi-task, with a focus on excellent customer service are key. Ability to process high volume of work with high rate of accuracy and meet daily, weekly, monthly deadlines. Must be a self starter with strong organizational skills.
