Busy Interventional Pain Management and Neurology Clinic looking for an exceptional Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The Nurse practitioner should be able to diagnose, administer appropriate treatment plans to meet the specialized needs of the patients, administer medications, document assessments appropriately with the use of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and carry out physicians orders.
Salary commensurate with experience and excellent benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To provide medical care and treatment within established scope of nursing practice to patients
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations, order diagnostic studies and medications, schedule procedures, and provide follow-up care
- Assess and diagnose patients, formulate and implement treatment plans and address complex medical conditions.
- Write all needed orders and complete History and Physical documents.
- Document follow-up notes, identify and treat
- To consult and update collaborating physician of any complex patients or situations.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a current Alabama License
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Masters Degree in Nursing.
- Credentialed by the Alabama Board of Nursing as Advanced Practice Nurse.
- Prescriptive authority privileges through the State of Alabama are a plus but not required.
- Ability to work alone in a fast-paced environment, critical thinker
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive patient-centered attitude
- Superior communication skills
