What are the responsibilities and job description for the Practice Supervisor position at Medical Practice Management, LLC?
General Purpose:
Reporting to the Regional Director or designee supervise, organize and direct the work of staff and ensure the delivery of high quality patient care. Work with Clinical team to facilitate patient flow, communication, and problem resolution related to the practice. Assure staffing needs and quality standards are met. Maintain and continue developing an environment which supports the professional nursing staff, physicians, and patient needs and promotes positive patient and peer relationships. Must have ability to travel to other area satellite locations for oversight and coverage.
Essential Duties of the Position:
- Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of an ambulatory clinical practice and services supporting a physician practice. Assign responsibilities and duties as related to appropriate licensure and experience of staff member.
- Communicate internal and external data and information to identify opportunities for improving services, patient outcomes and patient satisfaction to Regional Director.
- Communicate staff performance successes and challenges to HR and the Regional Director using professional practice standards.
- Coordinate annual performance evaluations.
- Identify issues and assist with corrective actions in order to promote a productive and healthy work environment.
- Provide leadership, guidance and direction to staff. Ensure that company policies are followed. Collaborate with staff at all levels.
- Interview, hire and train new employees. Ensure all staff maintains required training skills. Ensure staff learn and follow all SOP's and protocols.
- Responsible for working with the Regional Director to ensure practice is operating within approved budget.
- Assure all procedures for maintaining patient confidentiality are maintained per HIPAA guidelines.
- Maintain and develop practice policies and protocols based on quality medical and nursing practices. Share policies and protocols with Regional Director for approval.
- Back up other Medical Practices in the event coverage is needed.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree, 2-5 years of progressively responsible professional experience is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a clinical environment.
