Medical Preparatory Academy of Rhode Island (MedPrep) is an innovative public charter middle school opening its doors in August 2025. We are building a dedicated team of results-driven, passionate educators who share our mission: to prepare youth to succeed in top universities for careers in medicine, medical research, and post graduate professions. We are seeking a high-capacity, dynamic educator to serve as a World Language Learning Facilitator for 6th - 8th grades.

Learning Facilitators as Leaders and Mentors
Your voice and leadership will play a pivotal role in building MedPrep from the ground up. Each year begins with three weeks of summer professional development, where we refine our craft and align as a team. We believe excellence comes from practice, feedback, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
This isn’t just about stepping into a school—it’s about creating one. The work will be challenging, but the results will be transformative!
Responsibilities
Use and adapt provided curricula to deliver exceptional daily instruction.
Maintain high expectations by implementing MedPrep’s routines, procedures, cycle of inquiry lesson delivery and values to create a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment for students and team members.
Provide consistent, actionable academic and behavioral feedback to drive measurable growth.
Serve as a mentor during the daily get "What I Need" (WIN) Time, supporting students’ academic and personal growth.
Actively engage in professional development, coaching, and collaborative planning.
Incorporate coaching feedback promptly into classroom practice.
Communicate regularly and effectively with families.
Use student data to inform instruction, plan interventions, and refine teaching strategies.
Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to address individual student needs and ensure every child’s success.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; at least two years of World Language learning facilitation experience preferred.
Rhode Island teaching certification; additional certifications in World Language or credentials in multilingual learner instruction, preferred.

Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
A desire to grow as a leader in the classroom and beyond.
Proficiency with technology, including Google Workspace Suite and educational tools.
