Job Summary

Provide master level design and development expertise to the creation and maintenance of software products including applications, web pages, client portals, databases, reports and queries, and other products as requested. Interfaces with clients, customers, and internal users to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deploy solutions. Trains other team members and provides technical leadership in design and development matters. Helps develop and support software development best practices.

Major Responsibilities

• Design and develop efficient software components for complex tasks without supervision.
• Effectively troubleshoot and diagnose complex software problems.
• Follow Figma designs or wireframes to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
• Anticipate, identify, and mitigate problem areas.
• Develop prototypes and proofs of concept for end users.
• Meet with stakeholders and product to get clarification on application requirements.
• Provide direction, guidance and mentorship to less experienced staff.
• Participate in code reviews with fellow developers, offering suggestions and enhancements to improve solutions
• Write unit tests to identify and prevent potential bugs
• Ensure that code written is compatible with major browsers and is compliant with accessibility standards, best practices and search engine optimization guidelines

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of software development experience
• Expert level skills with C# and Python
• Experience with integrating and communicating with a Salesforce API
• Strong experience with MS SQL Server databases, as well as Postgres.
• Strong experience in server side development, including web services, API
• Extensive experience with Javascript and Javascript frameworks like React.js, Angular with a Strong Proficiency in Next.js
• Strong experience with object-oriented programming.
• Strong ability to create re-usable components Typescript
• Solid experience with website security and security best practices.
• Ability to write flexible, reusable and documented code.
• Strong analytical abilities
• Strong customer service attitude
• Proficiency with Version Control. Ability to Push, Pull and Merge code. If conflicts arise, resolve them without code loss
• Strong understanding of REST architecture.
• Experience using CSS component libraries
