Job Summary:
The Tier 1 Software Support Representative will respond to requests for support, train other Software Support Representatives and ensure that client needs are met. This role operates on a hybrid work model based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Responsibilities:
- Answer support phone calls during business hours, assisting our clients with tier-1 software-related needs.
- Assist with Tier 1 clients' needs via Salesforce incoming cases following the policy for the department.
- Attend team meetings
- Participate in 24/7 On-Call phone rotation 5%
- Create bug reports for QA/DEV, test ALPHA & RC fixes, and write Proofs with your department supervisor
- Participate in Coaching 1-on-1 sessions with Department Supervisor
- Training (Listening to calls, reviewing case history, testing logic etc.)
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 1 – 2 Years of software support experience is required
Essential Job Functions
- Follows the software support departmental policy
- Great attendance record
- An average of 2.0 or higher score for all defined Basic skills
- Answers the phone and closes support cases at a reasonable frequency as determined by management.
- Attends team meetings
Physical and Other Requirements:
- This is a typical office job that requires the ability to sit for long periods of time at a desk with occasionally moving, standing, and walking.
- Requires rapid use of arms, hands, or fingers, in handling or manipulating objects, or operating equipment, tools, and/or instruments requiring fine eye-hand coordination.
- Work environment is composed of moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic)
- Occasional travel of less than 25% may be required.
