Responsibilities :
- Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, medical histories, and managing patient cases
- Advocate for patients and ensure comprehensive patient follow-up
- Initiate and manage patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency
- Engage in general problem-solving to enhance patient care experiences
- Participate in community outreach and serve as a member of the mobile health team as needed
- Perform tasks commensurate with skill development, including HCT, UA, PPD, venipuncture, microscopy, health education, immunizations, and therapeutic injections
- Conduct medical chart reviews as assigned by the Nurse
Qualifications :
- Must have 2 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant
- Medical Assistant Diploma
- Must speak Spanish
