Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our growing healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual needs. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments for patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results, including medical imaging.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions, with a focus on geriatrics and dementia care.
- Provide IV infusion therapy as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients with disabilities.
- Engage in utilization management to ensure effective resource allocation.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including coding for billing purposes.
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in nursing.
Experience
Candidates must be Nurse Practitioners who have completed training and certification. Applicants without experience will be trained. Proficiency in coding and familiarity with utilization management practices will be considered an asset. A strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential for success in this role.
There will be flexibility with work schedule also.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $115,000.00 per year
