Surgical Nurse Practitioner – Locum
Specialty: Surgery (Wound Care)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 4 PM
Pay Rate: $80 - $100 per hour
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Nurse Practitioner with experience in wound care to join a dedicated team in Newark, NJ. This locum role offers the opportunity to contribute to wound care management while collaborating with a highly experienced team in both inpatient and OR settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Debridement of wounds both in the OR and bedside
- Application of negative pressure wound therapy (Wound VAC)
- Round on inpatients for wound consults and follow-ups
- Optimize OR debridement procedures
- Work in a collaborative setting with a surgical team to provide comprehensive care
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient care
Requirements:
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner with surgical and wound care experience
- Strong knowledge and experience in wound management and negative pressure wound therapy (Wound VAC)
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- NJ state license or ability to obtain
