Wound Care Nurse Practitioner – Locum Position
Specialty: Wound Care
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No call, no weekends)
Pay Rate: $70 - $90 per hour
We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to provide expert care to patients with chronic and acute wounds in Sunnyside, WA. This locum role offers steady weekday hours, no weekends, and strong support staff, making it an excellent opportunity for a dedicated NP looking to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Treat 10-18 patients daily, plus 1-3 hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) patients
- Provide care for diabetic foot ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, pressure ulcers, and surgical wounds
- Conduct occasional inpatient and ER consults
- Work collaboratively with two medical assistants for support
- Document patient care using Cerner EMR
Requirements:
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner with wound care experience
- Strong knowledge of chronic wound management and advanced treatment techniques
- Ability to work with patients of all ages in both outpatient and occasional inpatient settings
