Job description
Seeking a CERTIFIED Chemical Dependent Counseling Assistant (CDCA) for our well-established Gallipolis Residential Center and Transitional/Sober Living clients. We have a very rewarding program which is clinically-based with faith-based option, with only 3 Residential program relapses during our entire first year of operation. Our growth has been increasing, we have stable staff and we are looking for CDCAs seeking long term opportunity as well as opportunity for personal growth.
We have one of the nicest physical plant Residential Treatment Facilities in Ohio and many Transitional/Sober Living apartments behind it, as well as a medical office, mental health management and lab/urine draws onsite all here on one three acre campus.
We offer abstinence based management and additionally MAT may be provided of Subutex, Suboxone, Vivitrol and the more definitive secured management form of injectable Sublocade for appropriate candidates.
Candidates will be part of a team dedicated to delivering high quality compassionate care to all clients, and need to have maturity and personal boundaries.
Our CDCAs typically provide the following services:
Crisis Management, Case Management, Individual, and Group counseling, Assessments, ITPs and Discharge Summaries.
Qualifying Candidate features:
- MUST have a current CDCA certification from the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professional Board
- Must be available Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Some Saturday hours may be necessary (swapped for weekday off)
- Evening hours may become necessary to accommodate client employment schedules
- Must be able to pass a BCI/FBI Background check without moral turpitude/felony history
- Polite, non-judgemental, mature, compassionate and caring demeanor
- Organizational skills, self-directed, attention to details
- Excellent documentation skills, spelling, written and verbal communication skills, basic math skills
- Able to prosper and work with others as a team in healthcare and community relations with outside Agencies
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Basic computer skills
- Multitasking ability
Our Agency is physician led and managed, and client compliance with primary care and mental health management are program requirements.
We utilize evidence-based counseling methods combined with established successful management protocols for establishing community integration.
Only responses will be to professionals with a CDCA or more advanced certification with work history submitted to this site.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
