The Print Shop, a division of Medical Services of America, Inc., seeks an experienced Digital Press Operator / Finishing Operator to join our Corporate Headquarters team in Lexington, SC.
Responsibilities
- Operates production printers and copiers by configuring settings, managing job queues, processing files, printing jobs, scanning materials, and selecting output formats.
- Performs operator maintenance on equipment per manufacturer specifications once properly trained on equipment.
- Reads job tickets and understands steps required in the workflow.
- Performs quality checks on equipment utilized, diagnosis and corrects performance and imaging quality problems per operator maintenance standards.
- Records meter reads.
- Provides finishing services using appropriate equipment (e.g., folding, envelope/binder insertion, stapling, stitching, drilling, and cutting).
- Delivers output.
- Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Demonstrated ability to produce quality products according to specifications.
- General printing experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently under minimum supervision.
